SRI Hosting, and what we’re about

When we went to start SRI Hosting, my wife and I spent weeks carefully considering how to name it. We knew the name should not be after an individual, and most generic words seemed to have been used (and abused!).

Finally, we decided the best way to name the company, was a 3 letter acronym formed from words that would be our core. Service is an obvious benefit to a business, and reliability too. For the remaining letter, we settled on “I” for Integrity.

This week Seth Godin posted a blog about ethics, which is crucial in forming a business with Integrity. Reading this made me so glad to have our company named in such a way we are frequently reminded what we are striving for, but reminded me even more what a blessing it is to have such a solid group of employees.
