After getting a degree in Religious Studies at Westmont College, Matt had the opportunity to work there as staff in their Academic Computing team. That lead eventually to a position as a Linux Systems Administrator at a start-up called Careercast, where Matt gained experience managing high traffic, highly available web and database servers.
In early 2004, Matt moved with his family to Amador County, to be closer to where his wife (pictured too!) grew up. Simonsen Consulting quickly evolved into "SRI Hosting, Inc" as the consulting base turned to Matt's company for hosting in addition to consulting services. His role involves wearing the hat of systems administrator, Linux sage, and is the closest thing we have to sales + marketing!

Amy has been the soul of SRI and "the owners" most valuable advisor since the company was founded. Her wisdom and insight has helped guide SRI to where it is today. Amy has experience in data administration as well as HTML and CSS and even a little programming. But at SRI she is the HR, billing and Payroll departments all in one and she does it excellently. She does a great job making sure all the employees are well taken care of which not only enables the rest of us to do what we are good at but keeps us very happy doing it. Which is why everyone loves her so much!
When Amy isn't taking care of bills or employees she loves homeschooling her three children, enjoying time with Matt, playing the piano and spending time with family and friends.
David grew up in Amador County and has known Matt since 2004. In 2005 he started working as a Junior System's Administrator for SRI as the company was beginning to grow. He grew as a Linux System Admin and quickly became an important partner in the hosting business. After the first few years he began to steadily develop as a programmer becoming proficient in a variety of programming languages and as the company grew he moved into being the lead programmer. In addition to being our lead programmer, David loves finding simple solutions to complex problems from hacked websites to implementing difficult functionality.
When he isn't solving our clients problems or programming David loves hanging out with his wife (married in Feb. of 2011) and family, nephews, nieces, brothers and in-laws and playing guitar for church.
Jason Brennan joined the SRI Hosting team in August of 2011 after years of working as an EMT and firefighter and has become a great member of the team. He has quickly become an efficient programmer for SRI making significant contributions to most of our large projects. This new SRI Hosting website was his creation (though this bio was written by Michael). He has really enjoyed figuring out how to maximize Joomla for projects from very simple websites to much more complex sites.
Jason and his wife Candy live in Jackson, Ca with their two kids. When he isn't programming he loves spending time with them skiing, fishing, hiking and volunteering with the Fire Department.

Ed joined the SRI team in November of 2011 to be our User Support Tech working primarily with our Windows server and network clients but will probably be involved in a variety of areas at SRI. Ed is a natural when it comes to the IT field and is looking forward to expanding his knowledge and abilities. Ed was born and raised in Monterey County. He came to Amador County in 1998 to start a new life with his wife to be, Bonnie Chavez. Ed served in the United States Naval Reserve for 8 years. During that time he spent one of those years deployed overseas in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom as Master at Arms aboard several Naval ships.
Ed and his wife have been married for 12 years and have three children and one on the way. His wife, Bonnie, has worked as a hairstylist since arriving in Amador County 14 years ago.
